In 1992 Jim Dodd moved to the Northeast Ga. Mountains after a long career in commercial art in Atlanta. He has been painting and exhibiting his work for over 36 years, winning awards and participating in one man and group shows in nine states in the U.S., Germany and Italy. He is a past vice president of the Georgia Watercolor Society and the North Georgia Arts Guild. In recent years he has painted Plein Air canvas on location, as well as larger paintings in his studio. Jim studied at the High Museum School of Art in Atlanta, where he met his wife Mary, who was also a painter. Jim's paintings can be seen at his studio/gallery by appointment
